MLK Jr. Way - Feature Film
Role: Co-director/Writer/Editor, person project
What happens when a group of friends make a feature-length film on a budget that barely covers the beer
MLK Jr. Way follows two twenty-something Mexican American guys in West Oakland, as they lose their home and decide to find girlfriends to live with. Jumping back and forth across the line of documentary and fiction -- this dark comedy film explores the subtle complexities of gentrification and counter-culture, without making any claims or assertions.
